Lawrenceville Police Friday investigated a single vehicle accident at Adams and 12th Streets. A 2007 Toyota being driven by Heather Underhill of Lawrenceville was making a right turn. She dropped a cigarette and looked down causing the vehicle to veer off the road and into an Ameren CIPS power pole. Underhill was not hurt. Her vehicle did suffer enough front end damage that it was towed from the accident scene. Authorities indicate in their report that there were no citations issued.
