The Lawrence County Board met in regular session Wednesday afternoon at the Lawrence County Courthouse. They approved a resolution for $600,000 in motor-fuel tax money to be used for road maintenence in the future. Also approved after a public hearing was a requested setback variance for the McCaslin property at 11351 Saluki Road, Sumner, Christy Township. The move was made upon the recommendation of County Highway Engineer Aaron Mefford. The board also approved a resolution to clear titles on the 13 real estate properties sold via the 2020 sealed bid auction by the county. That passage was requested by County Clerk Will Gibson.
