Hazardous travel conditions are occuring due to breezy northwest winds which are causing some blowing and drifting of the accumulated snow of the past 24 to 48 hours especially in open and rural areas. Roads are being classified as snow and ice packed and slick. Bitter wind chills will continue across the region but should improve late. Anywhere from 8 inches up to 1 foot of snow being reported in Lawrence County and the surrounding areas depending on your location.
