The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 6,321 cases of coronavirus over the weekend Friday through Sunday across the state with 120 additional deaths. The latest Lawrence County Health Department figures show 2,307 positive cases with 28 active. There are no COVID-19 hospitalizations and 2,249 people have recovered from the disease with the death toll stationary at 30. Overall since the pandemic began, the IDPH has reported 1,162,154 cases with 19,961 deaths. The IDPH also reports there have now been 1,783,345 vaccinations. The Indiana State Health Department reported 3 new cases in Knox County Sunday for a total of 3,535 and no new deaths.
