The Illinois Department of Public Health Thursday reported 2,838 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus across the state with 102 new deaths. The most recent Lawrence County Health Department figures show only 1 case Thursday bringing the county total to 2,307 positive. 28 cases are active with no hospitalizations. 2,249 people have recovered and there have been 30 deaths. Overall since the pandemic began, there have been 1,155,833 cases with 19,841 deaths statewide. The Indiana State Health Department reports Knox County with 23 new cases Thursday bringing the total there to 3,524 with no new deaths. The IDPH reports over 1.5 million vaccinations have been administered in Illinois so far with over 69,000 doses given out Thursday.
