Fire investigators say a three year old child has died of injuries from an early morning fire this week at a Vincennes duplex. The child was one of two persons hurt in the blaze Tuesday morning in the 600 block of 7th Street. The name of the deceased has not been released. The second fire victim has also not been identified and is hospitalized in serious condition. Several other people were rescued without injury. The fire did an estimated $50,000 in damage. A cause for the fatal blaze remains under investigation by the Indiana State Fire Marshalls Office and the Vincennes Fire Department.
