The Illinois Department of Public Health Wednesday reported 3,314 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus across the state with 69 additional deaths. The latest Lawrence County Health Department figures show there were 8 new positive cases Wednesday as part of an outbreak. That upps the overall cases to 2,291 with 45 active. There are no hospitalizations and 2,216 people have recovered from the disease. There was 1 death reported bringing the county death toll to 30. Since the pandemic began, there has been a total of 1,134,231 cases and 19,375 deaths overall. Knox County Indiana reported 5 new cases Wednesday bring that county’s total to 3,444 with 39 deaths. A total of 1,094,135 vaccinations have now been administered in Illinois with a record 65,166 immunizations Wednesday.
