The St Francisville City Council met Wednesday night in regular session. They approved a recommendation from KeysHill Engineering to accept the single bid received from Broetcke Well and Pump out of Missouri for Well #11 work at a cost of approximately $331,400. The project will be paid for through an Economic Development Association grant obtained by the city. The council is seeking applications for a new city employee. Those application will be taken through March 15th for the soon to be vacant position. The city announced that it is to receive 50 to 100 Republic trash totes next week and that citizens can contact City Hall to request a second tote. It was also noted that the trash collection rates will increase to $12.50 with February bills.  Approved was continued city insurance coverage from Burkhart Insurance of Vincennes for around $39,000. Police Chief Billy Darnell announced that city residential ATV and UTV stickers are now available for purchase at City Hall for $20.
