15th District Republican Congresswoman Mary Miller issued a statement Wednesday addressing the impeachment of President Donald Trump. In the one paragraph release, Miller denounced the violence that occured on January 6th in Washington and characterized it as a dark day in the nations history. She went on to say that moving to impeach the President with only a few days left in his term will only divide the country further and take away from working on priority issues of American families. She also says she opposes any articles set forth for impeachment. That process began Wednesday in the U.S. House of Representatives. Miller is in her second week as the representative from the Illinois 15th District which includes Lawrence and surrounding counties.
