Jack V. Knoerr

Jack V. Knoerr, age 89, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital in Lawrenceville, Illinois. He was born on September 01, 1931 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the son of Verl and Cleo (Wolfe) Knoerr. He married Patricia Biggs on December 08, 1951, and she survives.

Jack served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War, and worked for Farm Credit for 35 years. He was a nationally known Three Cushion Billiard Illinois State Champion for three consecutive years. His memberships included the First Methodist Church of Lawrenceville, VFW, American Legion, and Elks. His past memberships included the Chamber of Commerce and the Zoning Board. He was also an active volunteer with Little League.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jeff Knoerr and wife, Joyce of Whiteland, Indiana and Jay Knoerr and wife, Judy of St. Petersburg, Florida; and one grandchild, Lacey Ann Conrad and husband, Eric.

Private services will be conducted for the family.
