Lawrence Unit #20 officials have informed WAKO News that the Board of Education is to meet in special session this week. The Board is scheduled to get together Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Lawrenceville High School Gymnasium. On the agenda is consideration of a Return to In-Person Education school plan to begin Tuesday January 5th. Unit 20 has been in all Remote Learning due to rising COVID-19 cases and staffing difficulties due to the virus. Some parents of district students have expressed their displeasure with that format and it’s effect on learning.
