The City of Lawrenceville has announced that the holiday lights display at the City Park has been taken down after being damaged by vandalism and theft. The display was to stay up and lighted through the upcoming New Years weekend but upon recommendation of Police Chief Jim White, city workers removed the display to prevent further damage. Anyone who has any information regarding the perpetrators is asked to contact the Lawrenceville Police Department at (618) 943-4946 or Lawrenceville City Hall at (618) 943-2116.
