Illinois State Police report that a Richland County man was hurt in a single vehicle accident on the St Marie Road in Jasper County Tuesday night. Around 9:45 p.m. a 1999 Dodge being driven by 63 year old Jeffrey Nicholas of Olney was traveling south when he drove off the roadway into the rightside ditch. The vehicle went through the ditch and then came to rest facing south. Nicholas was transported to a local hospital with unspecified injuries. Authorities after investigation did ticket Nicholas for Improper Lane Usage.
