Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes announced this week that Dr Alan Stewart is the winner of the inaugural Samaritan Award for Meritorious Medical Care with Integrity and Excellence. The award recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional clinical practice skills and uphold the mission values of the hospital. Stewart has been on the GSH medical staff for 44 years and has led the effort to battle the COVID-19 pandemic in Knox County as the Health Department Medical Officer.
