The Red Hill Unit #10 Board of Education met in regular session Thursday and approved the Fiscal Year 2020 Financial Report and Audit from Kemper CPA. The report indicated the district is in good condition regarding it’s various financial funds. They also approved the annual Tax Levy, which increased 3% from the previous year. An amended 2021 School Calender was also approved. Superintendent Jakie Walker had high praise for administrators, teachers, custodians, cooks, nurses, the Lawrence County Health Department and other staff members for their efforts as Unit 10 has remained open for in-person instruction at a time when many area schools have gone to remote learning due to rising COVID-19 numbers.
