KNOX COUNTY DESIGNATED AS RED

flu-virus

The Indiana State Department of Health this week designated Knox County as “red” in regard to COVID-19. The move was made after the county’s disease threshold level passed the 15% level set by health officials. The county will be under the designation for at least a week and it also will be under tighter protocols and mitigations in order to stem the spread. Knox County had 34 new cases Wednesday with the overall total now at 2,591 and there was an additional death bringing the total now to 34.
