The National Weather Service says that an area of light snow is forecast to move across the WAKO listening area late Tuesday night into Wednesday. Before the snow ends around midday, light accumulations are likely with some locations near the Indiana border including Lawrence and Knox counties possibly receiving an inch or two. With temperatures expected to be below freezing, untreated roads, bridges and overpasses will likely develop slick spots prior to the Wednesday morning commute. Those traveling during that time should allow plenty of time to reach your destination, allow plenty of room to stop in traffic and drive alertly.
