The Lawrenceville City Council unanimously approved an ordinance Thursday night setting the final platte of the Village Estates subdivision of the United Methodist Village Inc in the southern part of the city. Mayor Don Wagner hailed the move which allows the city to take over the water and sewer utilities and allows for the sale of properties at the location. He added it was a final step in coming to an amicable agreement between the city and the UMV which will help keep it operational in Lawrenceville.  City Council candidate election petitions  are now available for circulation for the upcoming municipal election in April. Those must be completed and returned to the City Clerk by Monday December 21st
