Three Knox County Indiana residents are now in custody suspected of being involved in multiple incidents of armed robbery in southeastern Illinois and southwestern Indiana. Indiana State Police have announced that Tangela Winemiller, Amber Nunley and Steven Williams all of Oaktown were arrested Tuesday and charged with multiple counts of armed robbery and other offenses. The trio is believed to have behind recent armed robberies of locations in Mt Carmel, Grayville, Casey and Marshall here in Illinois and in Terre Haute and Sullivan in Indiana. Authorities say the arrests were the result of co-operation between law enforcement agencies in both states and the investigation is continuing.
