The Lawrence County Board held it’s reorganizational meeting Monday at the Lawrence County courthouse. Jim Brewer was re-elected to another 2 year term as board chairman and Tom Robinson was elected also to a two year term as vice-chairman replacing Judy Phipps in that position. Board members who were re-elected in November were formally sworn in with Brewer, Robinson, David Burgett, Dustin Meadows and Dave White each taking the oath of office. The county board will continue to meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 4 p.m. in the board room at the courthouse.
