Local and area economic officials are urging residents in Lawrence and Knox counties to shop and support local independent small business during this holiday season. When local dollars are spent with local businesses, the money strengthens those businesses and help stabilize the jobs they have created. Those businesses and their employees in turn then are able to support local charities and other organizations. And spending with local independent businesses in your community enables business owners and their employees to provide for their families and strengthen the local economy.
