A Knox County Indiana man is in custody after alledgedly being involved in two southeastern Illinois armed robberies late last week. The Knox County Sheriffs Department announcing the arrest of Steven Williams of Oaktown Monday. He stole a pickup truck in Knox County back on Tuesday November 24th. Authorities say that Williams driving the stolen vehicle was one of three people who were suspected of robberies in Mt Carmel and Grayville on Friday November 27th. The getaway vehicle was traced back to Knox County and was recovered in Oaktown Sunday night. Williams has been initially charged with Criminal Conversion with other charges pending as the robbery investigations continue.
