The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 6, 190 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus Monday across the state with 85 additional deaths. Overall there have been 726,304 cases statewide since the pandemic began with 12,278 deaths. The Lawrence County Health Department recieved notification of 100 residents who tested positive for COVID-19 between Saturday November 28th and Monday November 30th. 57 of those cases were tied to recent outbreaks within the county. With those new figures, the LCHD now says that there are 1,134 positive cases in the county with 224 of those active. 4 people are hospitalized and 901 have recovered. There have been 9 COVID-19 deaths. The Indiana State Department of Health reported 14 new cases of the disease in Knox County Monday bringing the county total to 1,980 cases. There have been 21 COVID-19 deaths.
