Area law enforcement authorities remain on the lookout for the three suspects in two early morning armed robberies in Mt Carmel and Grayville late last week. Friday just after 5 a.m. the Jumpin Jimmys Convienience Store in Mt Carmel was held up at gunpoint by a male and female who took an undetermined amount of cash from the register and then fled in a white pickup truck being driven by the third suspect. Less than an hour later, the same duo entered the Super 8 Hotel near I-64 at Grayville and took money from the clerk at gunpoint and fled in the same truck. The suspect vehicle was a 2016 Ford F-250 4×4 four door truck with Indiana plates that had been stolen last week from Knox County. No one was hurt in the incidents. Anyone with information can contact their nearest law enforcement authority or Mt Carmel or Grayville Police.
