The Lawrence Unit #20 Board of Education met in regular monthly session Wednesday night at Lawrenceville High School. They were updated on the district return to remote learning by Superintendent Doug Daugherty who indicated some initial problems but they were worked out. He did say the district buildings have been made available to students for internet usage. Daugherty also reported the receipt of an Ameren grant for $79,000 for weatherization work on the districts buildings to be completed by the end of the year. The board also approved resolutions of intent to issue bonds for the payment of claims against the district and to increase the district working cash fund for the future.
