The Lawrence Public Library Board met in regular session Tuesday night and dealt with mostly fiscal matters. They approved unanimously the passage of the annual 2020-21 tax levy ordinance of approximately $275,000. They also discussed the recent receipt of $164,000 in property tax revenue from the county treasurers office- a first installment of monies coming in the future. The library board did vote to not meet in December, but did approve authoritization to pay claims during the month. They also approved the 2021 board meeting schedule.
