The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 12,657 new cases of coronavirus Wednesday across the state with 145 additional deaths. There was no report of COVID-19 cases Wednesday from the Lawrence County Health Department. The latest information as of Tuesday indicated there were 550 positives in the county with 184 of those cases active, 3 people remain hospitalized while 357 people have recovered and the deaths remain stationary at 9. Overall since the pandemic began, there have been 523,840 cases and 10,434 deaths in Illinois.
