It is Election Day across the nation. Locally Lawrence County voters will be heading to the polls to vote on a few contested local and district races along with some local and state ballot questions. Democrat Tonya Cox is vying with Republican Cheryl Winkles to become the next Circuit Clerk and Democrat Ryan Curtis is looking to unseat incumbent Republican David White for the District 6 County Board position. Polls remain open at all voting locations until 7 p.m. Central Time.
