KNOX COUNTY DRUG ARREST

A Vincennes man was arrested by the Indiana State Police on multiple drug charges Thursday night. Around 8 p.m. Eastern Time troopers responded to a tip about illegal drug activity at a residence on U.S. 41 near Vincennes. As they approached the home, they detected the smell of marijuana coming from inside. The tenant was indentified as 57 year old David Kolb of rural Vincennes. A warranted search of the residence uncovered about 24 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, pills, syringes, drug paraphenalia and over $500 cash. Kolb was preliminarily charged with 7 offenses-Dealing in Marijuana, Dealing in a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance, Possession of Syringes, Possession of Meth, Dealing in Meth, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphenalia. He was booked into the Knox County Jail and was being held there pending setting of bond.
