The National Weather Service has continued the Flood Watch for the entire WAKO listening area across southeastern Illinois and southwestern Indiana through Thursday afternoon. Rain, heavy at times, is anticipated with totals of 2 to 3 inches with locally higher amounts possible. Those who live in flood-prone areas should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
