Lawrenceville Police Friday evening investigated a two vehicle accident at 15th and Collins Streets. Around 6:15 p.m. a 2010 Dodge Nitro being driven by Grace Winegar of rural Lawrenceville had initially stopped at the intersection but then pulled out and was struck in the side by a 2006 Chevrolet whose driver was James Fleming of rural Sumner. Both drivers were checked by emergency medical personnel at the scene but required no treatment. A passenger in the Fleming vehicle was not hurt. The Fleming vehicle suffered enough front end damage that it was towed from the scene. There were no citations issued in the mishap.
