A Knox County Indiana woman has died of injuries sustained in a two vehicle accident earlier this week near Evansville. The Vanderburgh County Sheriffs Department reports that 56 year old Judy Pharris of Vincennes died in the mishap around 6 p.m. Monday on U.S. 41 near Evansville North Junior High School. Also dying at the scene was 79 year old Karl Bechtel of Newburgh Indiana. Investigation into the accident circumstances is continuing, but authorities initially believe that alcohol or drugs were not a factor. Toxicology reports do remain pending.
