The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 3,714 new confirmed cases of coronavirus Tuesday across the state with 41 additional deaths. 3 of those deaths were in Clark County north of Lawrence County with single deaths in Richland and Wayne Counties. The Lawrence County Health Department was notified on 7 county residents who tested positive Tuesday. The cases are unrelated and all individuals are currently under home quarantine with contact tracing underway. With the new cases, the LCHD now is reporting 316 positive cases with 42 of those active. 1 person is hospitalized while 264 people have recovered. There have been 10 deaths. Since the pandemic began, the IDPH has recorded 350,875 cases of the disease with 9,277 deaths overall.
