Lawrence County officials in conjunction with the four county district fire chiefs announced Tuesday that the burn ban recently implemented has now been lifted. Substantive rain over the county in the past 12 hours was one of the factors in rescinding the ban. Again, the Lawrence County burn ban has been lifted as of Tuesday.
