Lawrenceville Mayor Don Wagner has announced that the City Council Utilities Committee will be meeting late this month. The session will be on Wednesday October 28th at 10 a.m. in the mayor’s office at City Hall and will have as it’s topic replacement of a section of city water main. Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum has announced that the city is partnering with the Indiana Department of Transportation and C.S.X to begin reconstruction work soon on three railroad crossings in Vincennes. Work on the 15th Street, Main Street and Washington Avenue crossings of the North-South tracks will begin on Monday November the 2nd. More details regarding closures and detours will be forthcoming in the near future.
