A Knox County Indiana man has died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident Wednesday night in Lawrence County. Illinois State Police report the fatal mishap occured just after 10 p.m. on Illinois Route 1 just south of U.S. 50 north of Lawrenceville. A 2016 Harley Davidson being ridden by 64 year old Robert Shoulders of Vincennes was heading south on Route 1 when for some reason, he swerved and struck the raised center median losing control. The motorcycle then slid on the roadway, struck a guardrail and then came to rest on its side in the southbound lane. Shoulders was transported to a regional hospital where he later died. The accident investigation is continuing by the ISP with no other information being released.
