The Committee for the annual Lawrence County Community Thanksgiving Day Meal has announced that they are cancelling the event for 2020 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In a statement released this week, the organizers say they deeply regret the situation and are looking forward to serving the meal again in 2021.
