Two people were injured in a two vehicle collision Tuesday morning at a Lawrenceville intersection. City police report that at around 8:40 a.m. a 2020 Dodge Durango being driven by Beth Leggitt of Oblong was heading north on 11th Street and had initially stopped at the intersection with Lexington Avenue. However Leggitt did not see an approaching 2012 Toyota being driven by Gaylene Gibson of Lawrenceville east on Lexington and struck it in the drivers side. Both Leggitt and Gibson were hurt but refused medical treatment at the scene. Both vehicle incurred enough damages that both were towed from the scene. Authorities in their report indicated that there were no tickets issued.
