The Illinois Department of Public Health reports there were 1,853 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus Monday across the state including 14 deaths. There were no new cases reported Monday in Lawrence County. The latest updated information from the LCHD shows 272 positive cases with 15 of those still active. One person remains hospitalized while 250 people have recovered from the disease locally. There have now been 7 deaths. Currently the IDPH is reporting a total of 303,394 cases since the pandemic began with 8,805 deaths.
