Former Illinois congressman Glenn Poshard is holding several unity marches over the next few weeks in counties across Southern Illinois including Lawrence County. Each march is about 50 minutes with a recitation of the Gettysburg Address following. Masks are being worn during the marches with social distancing. Citizens in each county are invited to participate. Poshard will be here in Lawrence County at the courthouse square on Thursday October 15th at 2 p.m. He is also scheduled for marches that day in Clay County at 9 a.m. and in Richland County at 11 a.m.
