The name of the West Salem Illinois man killed in a weekend traffic accident in Wayne County has now been released. Authorities say he is 69 year old Steven Houchin. Police say that Houchin was traveling east on a rural county road early Saturday evening when his vehicle veered off the road into and out of a ditch before striking a culvert and then coming to rest in a field.
