Adam Frazier and Ke’Bryan Hayes hit back to back home runs in the bottom of the first inning off Kyle Hendricks and those were enough to hand the Pittsburgh Pirates a 2-1 win over the Chicago Cubs in game three of their four game series at PNC Park in Pittsburgh Wednesday night. The two blasts wiped out a solo homer by Anthony Rizzo in the top of the first to give the Cubs a short-lived lead. There was no more scoring after the first. The Cubs will try to split the series Thursday afternoon when they send Alec Mills (5-4) to the hill against Chad Kuhl (1-3) for the Pirates.
