A Wabash County youth has died in a shooting Tuesday. A release from Wabash County Coroner Shaun Keepes was issued following the incident at 2115 College Drive in Mt Carmel. It states that authorities were called to a residence at that location about 1:35 p.m. where Keepes pronounced a juvenile male dead from an apparent gunshot wound. No foul play is suspected and an autopsy will be conducted Thursday at the coroners office. The death remains under investigation by Mt Carmel Police, the Wabash County Coroners Office and the Illinois State Police Crime Services Investigations (CSI) Unit.
