The squad got solid pitching and just enough offense to win in Class 2a Regional 11 first round action at Toledo Cumberland Monday 3-1. Garrett Moorehead went all 7 innings on the mound allowing 1 run on 3 hits with 3 strikeouts and no walks. Marcus Davis, Hudson Meek, Noah Strauser, Dylan Aten and Max Moore all had hits in the win. That now sets up a Lawrence County semifinal battle Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at Unit 20 Ballpark in Lawrenceville against the #1 seeded Parkview Braves. The Braves swept the season series between the two teams 2-0.
