The national spotlight was on Vincennes University at Jasper this week with the learning institution being honored on the U.S. Senate floor in Washington by Indiana Republican Senator Mike Braun. Braun, who is a Jasper native made remarks celebrating the campus and its 50th anniversary. 2020-21 marks 50 years since the VU Jasper campus opened in 1970 as part of the university’s expansion.
