The Illinois Secretary of States Office has announced that a new Driver Services facility is expected to open for business October 1st in Lawrenceville. The new location is at 1305 State Street and will be larger than the previous building at 1600 feet and offer easy access and more parking to customers. The old Drivers Services office at 406 North 15th Street will close after business this Saturday September 19th. Prior to the new office opening on October 1st, Lawrence County and other customers can visit facilities in Olney, Robinson, or Mt Carmel or use online services to conduct business.
