THREE MORE COVID-19 CASES IN COUNTY

The Illinois Department of Public Health announced that there were 1,373 new cases of the coronavirus across the state Monday with 5 additional deaths. The Lawrence County Health Department was notified that 3 county residents tested positive for COVID-19 Monday. The cases are not related and the individuals are under home quarantine except for two who have been hospitalized with contact tracing underway. Lawrence County now has 235 positive cases according to the IDPH website. Neighboring Crawford County reported 6 new cases and are at a total of 286, Wabash County had 4 new cases and is at 143 positives and Richland County was at 122 cases. Overall since the pandemic began, there have been a total of 262,744 cases of the disease with 8,314 deaths statewide.
