HUMAN REMAINS FOUND IN SW INDIANA

death-investigation

Authorities are investigating the discovery of human remains in southwestern Indiana this past weekend. The discovery was made Saturday along a creek near the town of Maysville in Daviess County. The Indiana State Police Crime Services Investigation Unit has been called in to assist local authorities in the case. It was indicated that forensic testing will be needed in order to make a positive identification and there is no firm timetable for that to be completed. There is speculation that the remains may be those of Daniel Grannan, a local man who went missing in 2019 in that area.
