JOHNSON PICKED AS JUDGE CANDIDATE

court-2-4

The Knox County Republican Party has picked Brian Johnson as the person to fill the November ballot vacancy left after the death of Knox County Superior Court 2 Judge Ryan Johanningsmeier. He was selected from a number of candidates who expressed interest in filling the position. Johnson is an attorney with the Vincennes law firm of Kolb-Rollegan and Kirchoff. He will face no opposition on the ballot and will officially begin his new judicial duties in January of 2021. The remainder of the unexpired term of Johanningsmeier will be filled by an appointee of Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb.
