The Illinois Department of Public Health has reported 1,337 new confirmed cases of coronavirus across the state Wednesday with 30 additional deaths. There were no new case reports by the Lawrence County Health Department Wednesday with the case count remaining at 187 positives. Meanwhile in neighboring Crawford County there were 17 new cases reported with many of those in an outbreak setting according to the Crawford County Health Department. The county case total there is now at 219. In Wayne County 11 new cases confirmed Wednesday with a total now of 160 cases there. Overall since the pandemic began there have been 253,690 cases of the disease with 8,214 deaths in the state.
